My Story

My name is Brenda

I currently live in Washington, When I first made this page, I lived in LaGrande, Or. Then  Bend, Or.,  Visalia, Ca.  Bozeman, Mt.  Tehachapi, California. Clarkston, Washington. Lenore, Idaho, LasVegas, Nevada,  Lewiston, Idaho,  Newbury Park Califonia, then Clarkston, Wa (again!) and now...back in Lewiston, IDAHO.  No telling where I will be tomorrow.  Feet fitted with the Good News, taking it everywhere I go. Does that sound like alot?  I know!  When you walk, you will not stumble, when you run, you will not fall.  Praise God!

I am not committed to IDAHO, I am only here for one reason, MY DAUGHTERS. 

I miss my family in California, but I just remind myself, it's only temporary, my life is transitional right now, and DO NOT collect stuff while you are here!  haha, NOT KIDDING! In the meantime, I have lots of friends and lots of fun.

My Testimony november 2008

NEVER let anyone tell YOU, that YOU are not 'good enough' to be a Christian.  Nobody is-EVERYBODY makes mistakes and PRAISE GOD salvation depends on JESUS.  We are SAVED (from the consequences of our sin) by GRACE (undeserved merit) through FAITH (complete trust or confidence) in JESUS CHRIST ALONE. 

Eph 2:8-10 For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith—and this not from yourselves, it is the gift of God— not by works, so that no one can boast. For we are God's workmanship, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do. THANK YOU! Apart from HIM you do no good thing.  Created for a purpose and you can know what it is.

Salvation is the FREE gift that will cost you everything you have but what you get back in return is worth more than anything you ever had, it is something you can never buy, "The kingdom of heaven is like treasure hidden in a field. When a man found it, he hid it again, and then in his joy went and sold all he had and bought that field." 

It is about a LOVE so faithful and true that HE would lay down HIS LIFE for YOU.  A JOY that is unspeakable, that comes from within and exists irrelevent upon your current circumstances.  A JOY that the world and nothing in it can ever take away.  A Peace that surpasses all understanding...When the world comes crashing, YOU can still be dancing, and PRAISING HIM.

He lives and you can know HIM and you can know HIM today!  We love HIM because HE first LOVED US.  It is ALWAYS only one step back:  1John 1:9 If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness. If YOU confess with your mouth and believe in your heart that JESUS is LORD you will be saved.

Justified, just like that.  ANYONE who tells YOU different is just a liar and a thief, RELIGION is man's way to try and 'earn' his way to Heaven by being 'good'.  It's not about THAT, it's about a personal relationship with the risen LORD. People don't get saved because you heap a bunch of 'rules' on them. 

The Lord says:

       "These people come near to me with their mouth

       and honor me with their lips,

       but their hearts are far from me.

       Their worship of me

       is made up only of rules taught by men.

Creation speaks of a creator:  The Heavens declare the GLORY of GOD, the skies PROCLAIM the work of HIS HANDS, day after day they pour forth speech: night after night they display knowlege. There is no speech or language where thier voice is not heard. Thier voice goes out into all of the EARTH their words to the ends of the world. 

Created for a purpose and YOU can know what it is TODAY, and EVERYDAY into ETERNITY.  Live YOUR FAITH out LOUD.  Praise HIM for HE alone is worthy.  I just want to say:  THANK YOU LORD JESUS for giving ME a quiverfull, I have a bunch of kids and they are ALL coming with ME.

Yep, that's what I'm thinking.  :)

I went to a Bible study in 1992 where they were reading proverbs and was amazed by the Word of God! Went to church and God told me such wonderful, unbelievably beautiful and comforting things like: I didn't have to worry or be afraid of anything if I trusted Him and his son, Jesus, for my salvation, that His Word is true---that I could trust it and stand on it and it would never let me down.  Really?  Yeah, really!  He said if I delighted myself in HIM, HE would give me the desires of my heart and he did...I HAVE a DEEP DESIRE that my kids, and my family would know him.  I have a deep desire to worship him and glorify HIM with my life.  HE saved ME, and I will ever PRAISE HIM for it.

Jesus changed my life, and I'm grateful to him for so many different reasons, but most of all for taking away the fear.  For showing me that I don't have to be afraid of anything or anyone.  God has not given me a spirit of fear, but of love and of power and a sound mind.  He took me from where I was and he moved me.  I will ever PRAISE him and thank HIM for it.  HE is constantly setting me free from the chains that bind me.  Always reminding me that he IS the author and perfecter of my faith, that HE created me for a purpose and that I know what it is.  It is HE who works in me to will and to act according to HIS good purpose. 

It's my job to tell YOU, he LOVES you, that he died that you might live.  That YOU might have life, and have it more abundantly

That even if your whole falls apart, you can still  be standing, that you were created for a purpose and what that purpose is.  To KNOW him, all things (including YOU)  created by him and for him.  HE IS AN AWESOME GOD. 

No matter what you are going through, even if you think you are beyond where hope can see, there is a God reaching out for you, I know because he did the same for me. 

By the GRACE of God, you can know that you are LOVED by the creator of ALL HEAVEN and EARTH. YOU can know the LOVE, JOY, PEACE, & FREEDOM that only Jesus Christ alone can give YOU. 

He heals, he can heal you mentally, emotionally, and in your heart of all the things that would normally cause anxiety and fear.  I know because he did it for me.  He will give you a true JOY that comes from with in, and a peace that the world can never take away. 

I wrote my original testimony in 1998, I just updated it today: August 22, 2008.  Today, I am not afraid of anything (most days)!  Life is GOOD.  'Fear NOT, for I have redeemed you, I have called you and summoned you by name, you are mine.  What a wonderful thing it is to belong to the living God.  The SAVIOR of the WORLD. 

Jeremiah 29:11 'For I know the plans I have for you, plans to prosper you and not harm you, plans to give you a HOPE and a FUTURE.' THANK YOU!  I always forget that part, walking by faith along unfamiliar paths, watching the darkness turn to light and seeing the rough places smooth. No worries.

 I am currently learning to walk by faith and not by sight.  I know the living God, I hear his voice and I know when he calls,   Believe in the one he has sent!
